Dear George

Dear George,
I heard the news about you and lennie from candy, and i'm really sorry. I know it's really not my place to state my opinion, especially with your loss, but i feel very strongly about this. You did the right thing. I understand the other guys' perspectives, but candy told me that curley was going to aim for his gut, which means he would have painfully bled out, and lennie was a sweet guy, very nice, i remember him from when i met him on christmas a few years back, and i'm positive that he would have never done something maliciously. Candy told me curley told you guys to shoot him in the stomach, which would have been agonizing, and it's not what lennie deserved. I'm glad that george died peacefully and that he was in a good place, and that he was thinking about those rabbits, instead of suffering. I miss George, even though i only met him once, i felt like we could have been close friends, and that maybe if i hadn't stayed in weed, i could have traveled with you guys, and we all could have bought that farm and lennie could have tended the rabbits.
